“Built for Purpose, Grounded in Faith”

Welcome to Garden of Prayer Church of God in Christ, a ministry rooted in faith, restoration, and community impact. Located in San Antonio, Texas, our church is undergoing a powerful transformation—renovated from the ground up to reflect the renewed vision God has placed in our hearts.
Under the leadership of Pastor Gregory Greene, a devoted servant with over 48 years in ministry and 40 years as a pastor, Garden of Prayer is being built as a spiritual home for healing, growth, and worship. Pastor Greene’s dedication to ministry and his extensive experience restoring and founding churches across the country is at the heart of our mission.
“We shape our buildings, thereafter, they shape us.”

A New Beginning, Rooted in Prayer

“This church represents more than renovation—it’s a spiritual rebirth. Garden of Prayer is being restored to serve as a place of healing, worship, and community. Every wall, every detail, has been prayed over and purposefully designed to welcome those seeking God’s presence. This is our new beginning, and it’s firmly rooted in prayer.”

No Man Left Behind

At Garden of Prayer, we believe that strong men build strong families, churches, and communities. “No Man Left Behind” is more than a message—it’s a mission. Under the guidance of Pastor Gregory Greene, our men are being equipped spiritually, mentally, and emotionally to lead with purpose and integrity.
In these gatherings, men come together to learn, grow, and support one another in faith. Whether it’s through prayer, mentorship, or studying the Word, every man has a place, a purpose, and a brotherhood here.
“We’re raising up men of God—fathers, husbands, leaders—who won’t be left behind in their calling.”
